HIGH-SPEED DIE-CUTTING USING COMPOUND DIES

HIGH-TECH COLD FORMING

HIGH-SPEED TRANSFER

Compound dies, associated with innovative, custom-designed presses, naturally manufacture perfectly flat, concentric washers in a very high-speed process.

This was the first process acquired by GRIS DÉCOUPAGE. It produces a full range of washers for bolted assemblies, including:

  •  flat washers,
  •  static tapered spring washers (or static Belleville washers),
  •  TREP® washers or other special parts.

Cold forming is an innovative, high-precision manufacturing process:

  •  calibration
  •  forming
  •  marking
  •  stamping

With this technology, GRIS DÉCOUPAGE guarantees part dimensions and complete geometric control of interior and exterior diameters, and surface condition.

This technology is an economical alternative that eliminates the need to grind faces and/or diameters and requires no straight-edge blanking or other specific machining operations.

Transfer press technology is the latest process acquired by GRIS DÉCOUPAGE. It expands our offering by enabling us to produce the most complex parts at high speeds.

The principle of a transfer press is to produce parts through an uninterrupted sequence of operations with the possibility of implementing different technologies.

An outstanding feature of GRIS DECOUPAGE is our expertise in controlling material movement during high-speed strike operations.

Deburring

Deburring is a process that removes the burrs or unwanted raised edges left by a metal cutting operation.

GRIS DECOUPAGE has three complementary deburring processes to suit all customer demands and end use requirements :

  •  barrelling
  •  vibration
  •  centrifuging

"Zero defect" optical sorting

Zéro défaut garantit grâce au tri optiqueIn 1999, to address the most exacting quality specifications of our major customers in the automobile sector, we acquired optical sorting equipment using camera and laser technologies.

Today, we have 8 fully automated inspection lines enabling us to offer our customers a “zero-defect” guarantee, i.e. less than 5 ppm!

Monthly sorting capacity:
100 million parts/month
